HOW TO MANAGE MISCHIEF: A Day at JBSA Lackland Library, Where We Solemnly Swear We Are Up To No Good

THE DAY OF THE EVENT

Library Hours and Facilities

The JBSA Lackland Library will be open regular business hours (11 AM - 5 PM) on the day of the event; computer use, study room use, and checkouts will still be available that day. We recommend to all patrons who are not interested in participating in the event, to withhold from visiting the library this day if possible, since we expect an extensive amount of patron attendance throughout the day for the event. 

Items to note

Note: Library staff are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left unattended. We recommend securing all personal items in your vehicles before the event. 

FOOD AND DRINK: Outside food or drink will not be permitted. 

Photo Releases for minors 17 and below

Photos will be taken at the event. As a government organization, we are required to have a photo release form on file for all underage children (17 and younger). We will have forms available on the day of the event to fill out in person as you enter the building.

Families will have the option to "opt out" of photos being shared on Facebook at that time, and will be given an identifying wristband.

Volunteers Needed!

Looking for community volunteer hours? Just love Harry Potter? We are in need of volunteers for the event! We're looking for:

• Photo Release table volunteers
• Activity station volunteers
• Set up and tear down of activities
• Photographer
• Event preparation assistance to include magical wand making
